Are you having virtual camp?

Romaine calm! Instead of camp on our Urban Teaching Farm, we are offering themed camp activities that kids can do at home! “Camp in a Box” comes in 5 age-specific themes: Water, Engineering, Bugs, Art and Literature. All bags include a book, crafts and activities with links to virtual instructions from our educators for a week full of fun! Learn more here.

How can I get a refund?

We are offering refunds of any tuition payments that have been made. Please check your email to find your tuition allocation form.

What is going to happen at the farm this summer?

This summer, our staff will be going full production mode to grow delicious veggies, herbs and beautiful flowers for a sustainable harvest bag that families can take home. We plan to donate any excess to local food pantries. Follow the link here to our online store to see what’s growing.

How do I cheer up my kid?

We’re upset too! Camp is our favorite time of year at Urban Roots and it’s hard to think about a summer without it. We hope that “Camp in a Box” and our summer camp t-shirts will remind your kiddos of the great times they’ve had at camp and get excited for the future. Don’t hesitate to reach out if your camper is having a hard time.
